Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments.
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOM using SolidWorks/NX.
- Lead new product development from concept to production.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Regulatory, and Purchase teams.
- Conduct prototype trials, validation, and product improvements.
- Prepare engineering documents including ECN, ECR, DHF, and technical specifications.
- Support manufacturing during pilot and commercial production.

Job Description
- Design and develop orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments as per product requirements and specifications.
- Create 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, assemblies and BOM using SolidWorks.
- Modify and improve existing product designs based on manufacturing, quality and customer requirements.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances and GD&T.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D and other departments for prototype and product development.
- Support prototype development, machining trials and design validation activities.
- Assist in resolving design and manufacturing-related issues during production.
- Maintain engineering drawings, revisions, BOMs and other technical documentation.
- Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing and comply with applicable quality requirements.
